Acrylic on Paper, 30x42cm
The Japanese name of this piece only supports its visual quality. There is something schematic and simple in this work, reminiscent of an origami flower. The geometry forms a radial composition while supporting the idea of minimalism. The only thing giving it something beyond the reduction of form is the palette. This formally simple piece might be one of the chromatically richest in Paola Minekov’s body of work!
